PreSys Installs SP-1 in Puerto Rico |

January 14, 2002PreSys Corporation installed a SP-1(tm) emergency vehicle preemption system in San Juan, PR. The installation is at an intersection next to a police station and provides a good location to demonstrate the benefits and features of the PreSys SP-1(tm) . In addition to being a moderately busy intersection, the southbound direction is obscured by a row of trees. This natural obstacle does not pose a problem for the SP-1(tm). The system functions perfectly because it "listens" for sirens through the trees and does not require a line of sight. The Puerto Rico Department of Transportation (DTOP) did the installation with the assistance of PreSys engineers. |
